Really Light and Compact With Many Attachment Options
We got this to both record and stream live and had no previous experience with any webcam hardware beyond what they put in laptops these days. Most of our needs were met by our phones. However, we eventually realized we could really benefit from something more portable that didn’t keep getting in the way. That’s where this came in.The price point meant that we could afford to experiment with it and not be too concerned if it didn’t work out. The camera is super simple to operate and I figured it out in a couple of minutes before I even read the manual. It shoots really smooth 60 fps video at 1080 and still has a nice 4K picture at 30 frames/sec.t’s easy to record to the computer simply by connecting the mini-HDMI on the camera to the HDMI port on the laptop. We’ve been using OBS to record stuff on Linux and haven’t run into any problems. The camera was recognized immediately with full functionality.I do advise you consider heeding the warning about SD cards over 64GB presenting potential compatibility issues. We bought a SanDisk 512GB Extreme microSDXC for this unit at first because, although AKASO warns against it in the documentation, many reviewers online mentioned using higher capacity cards without issue.I think those reviewers were simply referring traffic to the products that made them the most commission and never actually had any experience with this setup, because we had trouble from the start. The camera didn’t recognize the card until it was formatted, and then it would only show up with a 30GB capacity. In contrast, the Kingston 64GB microSDXC Canvas Go Plus card we purchased worked perfectly right off the bat and it’s been smooth since.Instead of getting a larger capacity card, spend you money on several 64GB ones instead. I consider this a good purchase and we’ll be getting a lot of use out of this little camera and its amazing assortment of accessories. Oh, and it came with two batteries and a charger that charges both at the same time. Battery life is great too.

Amazing purchase and well worth the cost…
I purchased this to take on my 25th wedding anniversary trip to the West Indies. I found the camera to be of excellent quality and performance. I took a number of photos with the camera (see a couple above) and they came out just beautiful, even though ALL pictures (see attached) were thru the waterproof housing. I also took lots of video above and under the water and it performed just as well. I tried to upload a short video clip, but Amazon doesn’t appear to like .mov files, the format that the video are created in :-(.One issue I had was that the date/time stamp option on the camera. It took me and another friend (who also happened to purchase the SAME camera for this trip) almost a week before we figured it out. I’m not talking about how to set the date/time, but how to keep it from resetting back to 10/1/18. In simple terms, we deduced that the camera does NOT have an internal battery. So if you take out the battery to swap it out with a new one, you lose the date/time and have to reset it. Turning off the camera and/or recharging it with the same battery, the date/time will remain in use. But if the camera looses battery power for any time, you lose the date/time feature. On more point to mention is in the camera’s interface, there is a section to turn the date/time feature ON, and a different section to edit the date/time feature. I first found the second part and edited the date/time, but my photos did not display the date/time. Then I found the other section where you need to turn that ON so it does display it on your photos. Also, we could not find a way to “rename” our camera or the wifi feed. We had some issues with overlapping connections when both of our cameras were turned on to download/view our pictures at the same time. So we had to resolve the issue by only allowing one camera to be turned on at a time.Lastly, image stabilization is only available in the 1080P resolution, not in any higher resolution. I didn’t find this to be an issue, but wanted to point that out.I tried using the camera in dive mode….maybe it affects the pictures/videos when you’re deeper in the water, but at 25′ or so deep, all it did was to make the picture darker. Up near the surface, have a pink tint. For most of my pictures and video in the water, I opted to not use dive mode.In summary, this is an amazing camera for well under $100. The camera includes a large number of different mounting hardware and the underwater housing. I was able to take it down to 25′ or 30′ and had no issues taking pictures or videos. This gets a 5 star rating from me…for me, probably the best buy in the 2019 year.

Good Camera
For a third of the price of a go pro, this is a really good deal. The camera itself is okay, pictures seem to turn out good and it shoots videos in 1080p well. However, at 4k and even 2.7k the video begins to stutter – a lot. Certainly not the 25 and 30 fps that it is supposed to have. Granted, this could be something I messed up in the settings but I am skeptical of that.In high light settings the camera performs excellently, in the dark recesses of a canyon, where I use it, not so much. The camera can be used as a webcam which I thought was pretty cool but you definitely need a well lit room in order for it to look good. The other paraphernalia that came with the camera is awesome. My only complaint about the mounting hardware is that it didn’t come with any way to screw any of the mounts directly into a helmet, for most people the adhesive mount would work fine but what I use it for, canyoneering, it would get knocked off quite fast. A couple of 5 cent screws from a hardware store made it much more suitable for my needs. The waterproof housing is very well made, I’ve had it completely submerged and banged on rocks and it has held up quite well. The extra battery was a very nice inclusion and makes the camera last quite a while.AKASO customer service has been very good. When I received the package a while back it came with a note thanking me for the purchase, which I guess is standard nowadays but then they followed up and sent me a letter asking me how I liked the product (and to leave a review).Overall, this is an excellent budget camera for most people. It’s not a go pro, and it’s not going to have the quality of one but that’s not what this camera is designed for. For what it is, a budget action camera, it is great. I dinged a star because of the frame rate issue when recording higher resolution video, otherwise I would have given it a 5/5.

Câmera muito simples de usar e o app pra celular é muito bom.A case dela é boa e permite usar todas as funcionalidades.

Please do not waste your money on this item, it worked only for a week or two and its just dead. Screen is black and it wouldn’t start even after trying a new battery. Please don’t fall for this bad camera
