Review: Good clarity but, wish it had more bass. Believe it or not, it sounds the best at max volume! Lights are cool. Title: Quiets Down My Neighbors’ Dogs
Review: I bought a $130 ultrasonic device to get my neighbors’ dogs to stop barking which wasn’t very effective. Then I bought this bluetooth speaker, and it gets my neighbors’ dogs to stop barking most of the time when I play a dog whistle on it. This was a huge relief, because I had been loosing sleep for about 15 months due to barking dogs before I thought of getting an outdoor speaker with internet connectivity like this one. Talking to my neighbors and animal control did not help unfortunately.Pros: the sound quality is great, you can turn up the volume loud, and there is some water resistance.Cons: if the device you’re connecting to the speaker isn’t within 5 feet and pointed at the speaker, the sound will cut out, especially after a few hours. Also, although this is an outdoor speaker, I have it wrapped in plastic wrap to limit the risk of electric shock…rain could get in through the speaker holes or charging port otherwise. I also leave this plugged in 24/7 because I don’t feel like recharging it. So, I really have no idea what the battery life is like.Overall, this bluetooth speaker works perfectly for what I intended. You get what you pay for though-I imagine this device wouldn’t have enough bluetooth connectivity power, enough battery life, or enough water resistance to work as a long-range high-powered speaker for outdoor use. This WILL scare your neighbors’ barking dogs into submission though, which is an invaluable use for neighbors with little to no recourse otherwise.

Review: This is a fun little speaker – vibrant color, so not easy to misplace or lose. The lights are a nice touch. Sound quality is good. Purchased for my husband as he wanted to have something to stream music on in the shop. Because it is so handy and portable, he also now uses this speaker in the farm vehicle. And in the house. And at the farm house. And in my vehicle. And everywhere. Before purchasing for someone in your household, make sure you like ALL the same music and podcasts. And maybe some earbuds for a backup. A charge lasts a LONG time. Sometimes TOO long, depending on what’s playing. But this is not the speaker’s fault. It is a very good little speaker. It’s on my Christmas wish list. (In a different color, of course). Thumb’s up for purchase!

The lights on the side are a fun touch. It also lasts long between charges which is nice. And it will alert you while using if it needs to be plugged in.
