Title: Great Beginner Drone for a Teenager
Review: I am a big fan of drones and my teenage son is starting to show interest in them as well. Most of mine are too expensive, fast, and complex for me to feel comfortable with him learning on them. I came across this drone which is surprisingly feature packed, a good price, and comes with some great beginner features to allow someone to learn and grow into the drone hobby.He immediately complimented the controller saying that it felt natural like a video game controller. It has joysticks on both sides, a directional pad, and a seres of buttons on the front and top of the controller. This is a smart choice for a user interface because its approachable, easy to pickup, and easy to learn with. I love that there are some “easy buttons” to help new flyers get up and going without having to attempt harder operations. These are perfect for my son and he uses them regularly. For example there is a button for take off and land where it takes over and handles that. There is also an emergency stop if things look like they are going wrong to prevent injury or damage. There is also a trick button that causes the drone to do a flip. My son loves to use that one a lot.The drone also has three speed levels (one of which is appropriate for inside) to allow a person to start off slow and as they get comfortable gradually increase things for more fun and challenge. In terms of the camera – the 4k sensor takes really good video and pictures and using his iPhone he is able to fly the drone 200 feet away and maintain a video connection. The drone has some gesture detection to allow him to trigger photos/videos with certain hand motions. Its fun to watch him experiment with that.The thing that I really love is that the drone, controller, and accessories all come bundled together in a compact protective case. This helps him keep it all together and prevent breaking or losing any of the components. The drone folds up rather small for storing and the case holds all of the accessories including the additional batteries and blade protectors.All in all for the price this is a great package for beginning drone flyers to get started and grow into the hobby.

I almost forgot to merntion that the drone comes with a propeller protector for beginners. I used that at first just because I was so afraid that I will damage the propellers and motors. After a few flights, I removed them from the drone so that it looks cooler.
