Title: Easiest App setup for home security camera system.
Review: I leave this review having experience with both Ring and Nest from Google. Iâm monitor multiple locations with both systems. Here is my honest review. I first started using Nest when it was originally DropCam. Typical Google, they will change things, update apps, shift you over to new apps, and generally make a mess of what could be simple. However, since two of the locations I am monitoring were originally set up on Nest, I did not want to spend a ton of money switching over to what I think is the better system. Thatâs RING. Two other locations where I am using camera security were done using ring cameras. I have to tell you, both the hardware and the application are super simple and done properly. I cannot say the same for Google nest. Ring beats this system, hands-down. Again, I would switch the other two locations, but really donât want the added expense of switching over (new cameras home monitoring fee). . So, if you are buying for the first time or upgrading your system, Ring Is your solution. Everything about it just works and there are new surprises or questions like you would with Nest. RING works just right.

Review: So, I’ve had to replace all of my Google Nest cameras, since they did not keep up with innovation and then stopped supporting anything related to their security system (which made me very angry since all that money I spent was wasted!).I now have 4 Ring outdoor cameras, 2 doorbells, and their entire security system for over 6 months now. This new camera is just as great as their outdoor models. I like that you can pan and tilt the camera, and that you can connect the speaker to your alarm system (so it will sound the siren should the alarm go off and it can act as a motion detector for the alarm system–or not if you don’t want it to since it’s so customizable). The detail of this camera’s picture is far superior to anything I’ve ever seen or used. The image is also much ‘wider’ so even when the camera is static you can see much more in the view. It has its usual customizable features which are great and they’ve kept up with innovation and product/software improvement. I liked this first indoor camera so much I just purchased another 2 of them to finally get rid of my last 2 Nest cameras! Then, all my cameras will be under the same app. I’d certainly purchase more of these indoor pan/tilt cameras in the future if I need to!

Review: Perfect camera, crappy customer service.i preordered this camera early May maybe even April if im being honest. the expected arrival date was end of May. I was elated! i travel so much iâd love to have peace of mind being able to see inside my home too and with a tilt and pan camera? sign me up! weeks go by then i receive a message saying itâs not expected till late June, then it changes again to now say late July. i was so disappointed considering i had multiple out of state trips planned, everyone i contacted gave me no valuable answers or even a potential reimbursement for my time that was wasted and my money being held up for two additional months that werenât mentioned. considering these arenât on presale currently this shouldnât effect anyone elseâs experience but i just wanted to voice mine as i would have thought either amazon or ring could have offered me a better solution than, âoh well, youâll get it when you get itânow onto the good, this camera offers a lot more than some of the other brands in my personal opinion, being able to link it with my other ring cameras is a life saver, and the alerts are top notch aside from taking up all my phone battery. i also love the microphone, it seems to do worlds better than other cameras as all my animals will clearly respond when talked to and look directly at the camera unlike previous brands weâve tried. only thing i wish i could change on my settings is being able to view my house while im in home mode, as someone with pets i love a camera consistently running so i always have eyes on them.

Review: This is the perfect indoor camera! We are using it for our basement playroom to watch our son if we need to step away. It gives me peace of mind because I can literally follow him around the room and see him at all times. You can even talk to them if you see them doing something they shouldnât be lol.I had a friend over and her daughter asked to play while we were upstairs and I turned on the camera so we could watch her and my friend was amazed by the quality and maneuverability of the camera. I took a screenshot so you can see how great the camera looks. I highly recommend!
