Finally Got a Dashcam!
I’ve always thought I’d buy a dashcam, and I finally got one! This dashcam has a clear 1080p HD resolution, and the night vision function can capture clear details even in low light. Dash Cam is small, fairly easy to set – works well
I bought this dash cam, based on the reviews that seem to be very good and the price was very good. I have used it from Pennsylvania to Florida. It worked well however it did shut off two or three times. Iâm not sure why it does this. Iâll see if it does the same when we come back from Florida to Pennsylvania. It is fairly easy to set up and I have been able to communicate with Support if needed. I have not use the rear camera. I will give an update later.

Great Quality Video but system needs improvement
So this is the second dash cam Iâve purchased. And it just so happens this dash cam is giving me the same issues as the first. I donât normally do reviews, but this one is necessary for all those looking into dash cams. The struggle with dash cams and wasting time to return them is real. Having to set it all up, run all the cables through the car, just to pass a couple days to see the features donât even work properly. The video quality is amazing. Thatâs the only positive thing I can say. The dash cam on occasion will restart or freeze on its own. When you turn the WiFi on to open your files, it also causes it to freeze, so I have to unplug it to restart it, since not even the side power button will turn it off when it does freeze.When you actually open up the app and get into it, itâs a black screen loading and doesnât show you the live video. Once you start watching the video you were looking for, it freezes again and you have to restart. I canât even download because it freezes. I have to screen record and hope it will stay open long enough to get the footage. Iâm not gonna return this and do this for a 3rd time. Itâs is annoying taking it apart, returning it and wasting more time and money. Then purchasing another one and running those cables again. Fix your guys app!

A Must-Have for Peace of Mind on the Road
The 1080p HD resolution is sharp and clear, even when driving in low-light conditions. The night vision feature does a fantastic job of capturing details. The wide-angle lens provides a solid view of the road.One feature I really appreciate is the G-sensor, which detects sudden movements like hard braking or collisions. When an impact occurs, the camera locks that footage, so you wonât lose any crucial evidence. The loop recording feature ensures that the camera continues recording even when the memory card gets full, automatically overwriting old footage.Setup was easy. The camera mounts easily to the windshield and connects to the carâs power via a 12V adapter. Once itâs set up, the camera automatically begins recording when you start the car, and stops when the engine is turned off. Customer service representative responded quickly when I did have a question.

Rear Camera Not Working/Terrible Customer Service
The rear dash cam didn’t work and Amazon told me that because this was a 3rd party seller, I couldn’t return it/exchange it through them. I contacted IIWEY and long story short they aren’t willing to help at all. The entire process has been a nightmare. I regret buying the cheap option, this is what happens. Just spend a little more and avoid this company!

So this is the second one I’ve ended up with due to the first one not working as it should. The company reached out to me about sending me out a full brand new system. Which was very kind of them to do. Most company’s would not even of bothered, more so when they heard I through the box and all in the garbage (it was mentioned in my previous review). I don’t tend to leave bad reviews and it killed me to have to do it on the first cam system. After running this new one for a week straight. It 100 percent was just a “one off” I ended up with in the first place. The new one works perfectly as it should, rear cam works excellent. The parking monitoring works as it should and it records more then 10 minutes. This company took a bad experience and turned it into a great experience. Will do business again for sure.

Just got this Iiwey dual dash cam and I’m really impressed! The front camera records in crisp 4K while the rear camera quality is great too. Night vision is excellent – I can actually read license plates in the dark. The screen is perfect size and doesn’t block my view.The parking mode is great for security (though needs separate hardware kit), and the app makes it easy to check footage. Had a small issue with the rear camera mount, but customer service responded quickly and offered a free upgraded version.Only minor gripes are needing extra hardware for parking mode and having to use PC to view highest quality videos. But for this price, the image quality and features are fantastic. Plus their 12-month warranty and quick customer service give peace of mind. Definitely recommend if you want a reliable dual dash cam setup!

I purchased this camera from you, but when I turn off the car, the camera keeps running, which drains my car battery. This has caused me to go to work twice without my car in the morning. Could you please tell me why this is happening?I previously shared the issue with my camera not turning off and draining the battery with you, and you were supposed to send me a separate cable, but you didnât. The installation process was quite straightforward, comes with everything you need. The provided cable is sufficiently long for setting up both the front and rear cameras. The included trim tool was helpful in concealing the cable. The main camera features USB-C power connectivity, offering versatile power options if the included lighter adapter is not ideal. The mounting hardware, including the suction cup, is easy to adjust and securely holds the camera in position. The camera’s menu is user-friendly and intuitive. The display screen is clear and easy to read. The supercapacitor battery backup appears to be reliable in maintaining settings between uses.The video recording quality is satisfactory. The camera excels in capturing contrast and handling bright skies. Fine details may be challenging to discern, possibly due to glare or my current setup, which I still need to adjust. Initially, the resolution was set to 2K, but I used the app to upgrade it to 4K. At 2K, the bit rate was 16000kbps with a frame rate of 25fps, using h264 MPEG4 encoding. For 4K, the bit rate increased to 25000kbps, maintaining the same frame rate and encoding method. The viewing angle is impressive, offering extensive coverage from left to right. The rear camera, while not matching the front in quality, produces acceptable footage with muted and somewhat washed-out colors.The rear camera records 1080p at 8000kbps and 25fps, also with h264 MPEG4 encoding. On the 2K setting, the front camera recorded approximately two hours of video, although results may vary.While I lack benchmark comparisons with other cameras, I am familiar with my phone’s capabilities, and it seems to fall short of the expected performance in 4K/2K video quality. But i don’t know if that is a fair benchmark for dashcams either.The WiFi-connected app is quite impressive; the live view is crisp, and reviewing recorded TS files is very efficient. I appreciate being able to review and tag files directly through the app without having to remove the card. It would be convenient to review footage on the device itself; I didn’t notice this option in the menu, unless I overlooked it.Overall, I am satisfied with the camera, its compact runs fine on its own, records reasonable amount of video on the card to ensure you capture a potential situation.NOTE: I am unable to attach my sample screengrabs from the video to demonstrate the quality to the review, you will unfortunately just need to take my word for it.

The overall experience has been seamless, with high-quality video resolution and a wide field of view. For this price point, it’s an excellent, high-value choice for a dash camera. Downloading video is fairly fast and built-in G force sensor is also an amazing feature. The included cables are fairly rich for my small car, it is really long so should fit in much larger and wider cars. Overall satisfied with this dash cam at this price, the rear one is somewhat improveable, but since it works nice it still deserves a 9/10.
