Great Cam and a Great Price! Packed with features
We purchased the F7N Redtiger camera about 18 months ago and it has now paid for itself 100x over when it provided evidence to the police and insurance that my wife was not the one at fault in an accident that totaled her vehicle and the other party lied to the police. My wife was going to get the ticket after the officer talked to the other party first, but she was able to show the officer the cam video and they reversed course and issued the ticket to the other party. Then the other party lied to their insurance, but after providing the video to their insurance, the adjuster immediately accepted 100% responsibility.Easy to install and with clearly written English instructions. Great suction cup with integrated GPS antenna makes installation a breeze. Cam will slide off mount if you want to hide it while parked without removing the entire mount. Crystal clear video, front at 4k and back at 2k, produce high resolution video where you can read license plates and even identify who was driving another vehicle.Even more importantly, it has a good app that you can use to directly download video from the cam without pulling the card and taking it to a computer. Just in case you are in an accident, you can instantly download the relevant video to your phone and show to Law Enforcement and e-mail to your insurance company. This is hugely important so a ticket can be issued to the at-fault party on scene as my wife did. If you can’t show the officer when writing the report, they may issue the ticket to the wrong party or no one if they can’t figure out who was at fault. If this happens, it’s a long up-hill battle to get the other party’s insurance to pay out and the police will never cancel an incorrectly issued ticket, so it forces you to go to court to defend yourself. If you are in a serious accident (if anyone goes to the hospital, it’s serious), the officer may confiscate the SD card or even the whole camera for evidence. You may not get it back for weeks or even months. Sometimes they get lost an then you have nothing. Have a copy safely on your phone so you can give it to your insurance company and lawyer immediately!Buy the REDTIGER F7N Dash Cam Hardwire Kit to go with it if you want 24/7 monitoring without killing your car battery. Never wonder who backed into you in a parking lot or keyed your car if it happens to you.Some things that set Redtiger apart from the others:They actually have tech support. We had an issue with one camera not liking our SD card and contacted support to see if we had a bum Cam or bad setting as the issue was intermittent. Turns out it was just a faulty card after running a write test on the computer. Not a big issue as SD cards are cheap, but good to know that if you have an issue that Redtiger does support what they sell.Software updates. We’ve owned the F7N for about 18 months and have received software updates to improve functionality. The cam was great when we got it and even better now with new features added.Proof in the pudding:We liked our F7N so much we just bought another Redtiger cam, a F7N Touch, for a new (to us) vehicle and it’s great too.Note: I wasn’t paid for this review nor given a demo unit or anything else. I’m only a satisfied customer that is enjoying the premium quality and features at a great price vs the big-name competitors and their high prices.

Look no further, this is the camera for your car
Exactly a week after installing this REDTIGER dash cam, my wife got into a motor vehicle accident (not her fault, no really) The accident triggered the dash cam system to immediately secure the crash footage by locking it and placing it into a separate folder on the MicroSD card. I was very impressed with the resolution since the incident happened early in the morning when it was still dark. The quality during daytime recording is even better. The package also includes a rear view camera and both are extremely easy to install. I did not hard wire the system, however, you do have that option. After activating the built-in wi-fi, you can use your phone to access all the video clips (after downloading the redtiger app). The app and camera are very user-friendly. The camera has GPS so all clips are accompanied with the exact time and location of the recording and the speed you were driving. The 32GB MicroSD card is sufficient for your recording which will loop unless you save certain clips. You can always upgrade by installing a bigger capacity SD card, but probably not necessary. The suction cup is strong and sturdy and is easily removable in case you need to clean the surface of the interior windshield. So far, I have purchased TWO of these cameras for each of our cars. If you are looking for an affordable, high quality 4K dash cam, this is it.

Great device at a good price, could use better documentation
The device works as advertised and after reviewing the video, it’s quality footage and will surely serve my needs in a dash cam. Installation was pretty straightforward and easy, only took me about 20 minutes.Operating the device isn’t quite complicated but the manual they provide has very little detail in terms of what each feature does. I was able to find a YouTube video that filled in the blanks but I do prefer to learn from reading the manufacturer’s documentation. Their website also wasn’t much help. I’ve read that their customer service is responsive but I prefer only to reach out if my issue is complex or something is clearly wrong with the product, which hasn’t been the case yet.So all in all I’d say this is a quality product for the price, just be prepared to learn the specifics of its operation from a 3rd party.

I have had my dash cam since July 2024. 6mo later and its still working great. I have a good video on Tiktok (K.martinez2128) that I got one super early morning that will show you the clarity of this camera especially at night.The price was not too bad for a front and rear. Installing it in my explorer was super easy and quick, maybe about 20 min for both front and back.When it comes to recording while you are away from your vehicle, you do have to have the battery back up. Mine stays on for about 1-2 min after my power to the outlet turns off. If you DO NOT have a plug that will turn off after leaving the vehicle you will need to unplug your camera to keep from draining your battery.The Wi-Fi function. I have seen some complaints in the reviews and can see where the frustration is. It does take some finesse to get it to connect the first few times but once you figure it out, your good. What I typically do is turn it on to the Wi-Fi function, connect it to my phones Wi-Fi then pop over to the app. Sometimes it can take a time or 2 with restarting the app to get it to connect but once you figure it out, its easy every time after. So.. Not the best but for the price.. im not complaining.The range of the wifi is yes smaller… but if you think about it not all wifi routers reach past 15′. So yes, you will need to sit in your car to download your videos. But you do also have the memory card, that you can easily take out of your vehicle and upload to your computer quickly too.Only complaint I have it it can take some time for the camera and your phone to connect and talk and download but overall, good camera. We will be purchasing a few more soon!!

Die Installation ist gut erklärt und denkbar einfach, mit dem ordentlichen verlegen von den Kabeln maximal 1 Stunde.Die Kamera macht ein super Bild, alles funktioniert einwandfrei, lediglich nachts könnte sie etwas empfindlicher sein, da die Kennzeichen von dem von hinten kommenden Verkehr schwer bis teilweise gar nicht zu erkennen ist. – dafür aber wenn sie vorbei gefahren sind durch die Frontkamera in der Regel, weshalb ich keinen Stern abziehen würde.Klare Kaufempfehlung.

I’ve had the camera for a bit over 2 years now and it has served me very good. Quality is amazing, with 4K recording available for front and hd for the rear view camera. It is very easy to use and install. You don’t have to be technical to do it. It will take you probably 10-15 minutes to get it done. Functionality is great, with many options on the settings to play around depending what you need.Now to the main part of the customer service. After a bit over 2 years of use, the camera started to play around. It would keep turning on and off randomly. At some points, it would be on without recording. I check it for few days/weeks hoping it would stop but nothing changed. So I contacted their customer support to help me troubleshoot the issue. In my great surprise, I received a reply from the within 24 hours with step by step checks to do to ensure if the issue is with the camera or set up(memory card faulty, cables cut etc.). After checking everything and realising that everything is connected properly, the customer support offered me a camera replacement! All in all, I can say I am very happy with product but the customer support has made the whole experience amazing! Thank you RedTiger Team for your fantastic service! I would definitely recommend to anyone to buy a product for them as the peace of mind they offer you for the value for money of the product is just one of a kind!
