Installation is easy enough if you’ve ever dabbled in audio or hands-free phone hardware installation. Cables for power, rear camera and front main camera are all long enough and easily concealed. I had it up and running in less than 30 minutes.Don’t wait until after you have an accident to get one. Video evidence trumps BS every time and it could save you money or your license if you have this “impartial witness” to verify the facts.This is a quality unit at a reasonable price.

The five star is for the camera. It works great, wife loves it. Easy to install and set up. Voice command is simple and easy to learn.DO NOT buy the upgrades as card. Nothing but problems. Doesnât record, have to reformat daily. Horrible.

I didn’t have issues getting the app to work. Only thing about that is the default password shows in red on the screen and is a bit hard to read. Luckily it’s a simple password that can be recognized right away. If the text was white with a black outline or vice versa, that would be much better.Once the front camera is mounted, there isn’t a way to rotate the camera unless you release the suction (unless I just needed to turn harder).I’ve had a few cameras in the past. They all seem to start up pretty fast, like almost immediately after you start your car. This takes several seconds. I imagine because it has to start up all the features since my previous ones didn’t have WiFi or GPS.The suction is about the same for every camera I’ve tried. I don’t think there’s a way to really improve these unless a completely new technology is invented. It’s pretty much standard, so I can’t really dock points off because of that.Navigating the menu via touch screen is okay. If you decide to use the up & down arrows to avoid accidentally touch the wrong icon, it takes a bit to scroll to the next page. Nothing can be done about this either, since it’s a tiny LCD screen. I’d recommend setting up wifi and using the app to configure settings.The video quality is great, although I don’t know how if you’ll be able to read license plates and street signs. Seems this is a struggle with dashcam tech in general.Loop Recording is 1, 3, or 5 minutes. Would be nice if there was a 10 minute option.The plastic orange push-tool they include is VERY convenient. It helps with hiding wires. I wouldn’t have even thought of needing one so I’m glad this was automatically included.I wish the rear cam has a predrilled hole where the sticker covers in case you want to mount it with a screw. Every sticky piece I have fails because I live Texas which our summers last 11 months. I’m going to have to manually drill a hole. I also wonder if any pieces will get sun-dried and fade.The front camera feels solid and weighs a bit. It feels like it is quality.Final line, out of all the dashcams I have owned over the years, this has been the best out of box. Hopefully it lasts a long time. Fingers crossed.

Nachdem ich mich im StraÃenverkehr bereits des Ãfteren herumärgern musste, weil andere Verkehrsteilnehmer augenscheinlich des ordnungsgemäÃen Autofahrens nicht mächtig sind, habe mich ich für den Kauf einer Dashcam entschieden. Da die Beweislast in strittigen Situationen immer gegeben ist, kann hiermit nun zukünftig Abhilfe geschaffen werden und die Aufnahmen als Beweismittel vorgelegt werden.Ich habe mich hier für ein etwas hochpreisigeres Modell entschieden.Die Installation der CAM war relativ einfach, ich habe jedoch aus Vorsicht, etwas zu beschädigen, das Kabel zur Heckscheibe nicht unterhalb der Verkleidung durchgeführt, sondern über dem Boden.Die CAM überzeugt durch sehr hohe Auflösung, egal bei welcher Tageszeit / Bedingungen. Durch die zusätzlich erworbene Linse ist das Bild sehr scharf und dynamisch durch den Weitwinkel.Man sollte die genaue Position vorab testen.Während der Fahrt ist die Kamera kaum zu bemerken.Bei Login in das WLAN der Cam können die Ãbertragung der aufgezeichneten Dateien auf die App generiert und angesehen. Hier empfiehlt sich regelmäÃiges Löschen, um den Speicher nicht zu voll zu machen.Alles in allem ein sehr gutes, hochwertiges Produkt.
