Good Camera but no USB-C adapter provider For Newer Vehicles without cigarette lighters
I easily installed the camera in my 2025 Toyota Tacoma Sport truck and ran the wires to be hidden to my back window. However, note that I barely had enough cable to reach the back window, and I doubt it would have reached the back window of my SUV if I had decided to install it in that vehicle instead. I did have to order an adapter since my truck and most newer models do not have cigarette lighters so I could hook up to my truck’s USB-C. I took away a star because the kit does not provide an adapter plus, and I think the back camera cable should be longer. I’mgetting use to the operation of the cameras as time goes on.

Well packaged and easy to install.
This dashcam was easy to install. There is more than adequate wiring to run both the main camera and the rear camera. I have a 2024 Blazer EV, which is large. I am still configuring the interface on this camera. However, it records everything nicely. Mounting the camera was simple for both.

Impressed with Red Tiger
I couldn’t have asked for anything better for the price. Works great! And does everything it says it claims. I purchased the f-17 for my wife so she could have the 3-channel dash cam and both work flawlessly. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality dash cam.

Decent but could be better for watching or saving videos
So far the use of this has been okay. I even took it with me to Europe so I could video my travels in case something happened which was nice with the cigarette attachment since I use the permanent connection in my rig. What I wish is that I could connect to the app without having to be sitting in my rig and connecting it to the Wi-Fi in order to see the videos. It’s really a pain and there should be a better way to look at the videos and save them to my computer. I also wish that it would remember the screen that I left it on every time I turn my rig on as I don’t like to see the screen and I always have to swipe the screen until it’s dark especially when I’m parked. It doesn’t remember that setting.

Decent dashcam
I’ve ended up using this at 1080p resolution because the 60fps frame rate is much better than the 30fps on the 4k setting. Honestly for this price it should be able to shoot at 4k 60fps as there isn’t a whole lot that sets this apart from $99 4k dash cams. Nowadays everyone of them has wifi and GPS and an app thats just as mediocre as this one. I’d buy this on sale near $100 but look elsewhere if it’s still at $150.

This is the 7th dashcam I have installed in my vehicles, so I think I have a good sense of what makes a great dashcam. I had never heard of red tiger before but was impressed the minute I open the box seeing the quality of the dash cam inside. Many dash cams have useless features hard to navigate menus and questionable resolution. This Redtiger dashcam is just the opposite. The videos recorded are of the highest quality The menu is easy to navigate and the dash cam is very easy to use. In terms of ease of use, and this is something I’ve never seen before, the dash cam accepts voice commands. I can tell it to show the rear camera when I’m backing up my truck or I can tell it to show the front camera or I can tell it to send to show both cameras on a split screen. Between its WDR and Sony starvis sensor, the videos are some of the clearest I’ve seen.It’s the ultimate inconvenience to be able to manipulate the dash cam with your voice without needing to take your hands off the wheel or even look away from the road for a split second.The dash cam also has integrated GPS which is extremely useful in the case you ever need to present evidence as the GPS can validate your location as well as the speed you were traveling.The dash cam also has a parking monitor which runs 24/7 keeping your vehicle safe at all times. Included with the purchase of this dash cam was 128 gig microSD card which can hold many many hours of video. And even if it should get near being full the dash cam will start to overwrite the oldest videos on the card and you’ll never run out of space. If you unfortunately are involved in an accident this dash cam has a collision sensor which will immediately lock the video footage that occurred right before the accident so it can never be deleted inadvertently.Some other dash cams might include Wi-Fi but this dash cam takes it a step up and provides 5 GHz Wi-Fi which makes for rapid downloading to your cell phone of any videos you would like to save or share. Not only that with the app you can also set up the dash cam if you prefer to not have to push the buttons on the dash cam You can access the settings from the manufacturers cell phone app.I can confidently recommend this dash cam to anyone who is in the market for a dash cam. As I’ve said before this is the 7th dash cam I’ve installed and is by far the best in terms of video quality, features and value.
